Privacy Policy

ShiftPaybook is built so that we do not collect your data. This policy covers the ShiftPaybook app for iPhone and this website, and it describes what the app actually does.

What we collect

Nothing. The app does not collect, receive or store personal data about you. There are no accounts, no servers that receive your data, and no advertising, tracking or analytics software in the app. In the App Store privacy details the app is listed as Data Not Collected.

The app does not contain code that sends your shifts, pay rates, notes or settings anywhere.

Data on your device

Your jobs, shifts, pay settings and notes are stored only on your iPhone, using Apple's data protection. Demo data that the app can show on first launch is created on your device as well, is marked as demo data, and can be deleted in Settings.

You can export a backup file yourself. You decide where it is saved or shared, and we never receive it. If you back up your iPhone with Apple's device backup, that backup may include the app's data; that is controlled by your Apple settings, not by us.

Deleting the app deletes the data stored by the app. It does not delete backup files you exported or iPhone backups you made.

Purchases

ShiftPaybook Pro purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your Apple ID, your payment method or your billing details. The app uses Apple's StoreKit framework on your device to ask whether Pro is active and to complete purchases and restores. Apple's own privacy practices apply to purchases: see Apple's privacy policy.

Notifications

Reminders are optional. The app asks for permission only after you choose to turn them on, and you can change this at any time in iOS Settings. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device; they carry no data off the device.

This website

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts or fonts. Our web host may process technical request data, such as your IP address and the page you asked for, in standard server logs in order to deliver the pages. We do not use it to identify visitors.

If you contact us

If you email support@shiftpaybook.com, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply and to improve the app, and we keep the conversation only as long as it is needed to help you.

Children

ShiftPaybook is not directed to children under 13. The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because the app does not collect your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. Your records are on your device and under your control. For anything we hold because you emailed us, write to support@shiftpaybook.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with a new date. If a future version of the app ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
